We believe all children in Tanzania should be raised in a caring, supportive and protective family, at all times.
There are over 27 million children in Tanzania today. Every one of them deserves the same rights, freedoms and opportunities, including the right to a family. But for too many, their childhoods are typified by abuse, trauma and neglect. Tens of thousands of children are struggling to survive on the streets, working in abusive situations away from their families, or trapped in orphanages. These children are too often deprived of their most basic human needs…

This alliance has been formed to bring together the expertise and experience of like-minded organizations and individuals determined to improve the situations and future outcomes for all of these children.
The coalition provides provide an opportunity to engage with a coordinated CSO/NGO voice to influence laws, policies, systems and practices that will ensure that all children are raised in a loving and caring families.
